The Cranbrook State School Curriculum Plan details the 'when' and 'what' students will be learning across the year. Each term parents will view or receive information about what your child is learning for the term and ways you can support your child at home.
Pedagogy
Cranbrook State School are using the Gradual Release of Responsibility Model when teaching our students. We have separated the model into teacher roles and student roles. These roles are made clear to students at the beginning of every year and elaborated on during each lesson. All units, weeks, days and lessons are tailored using our pedagogical model and are visible in every classroom.
Some of our experienced teachers are learning about other pedagogies including Age Appropriate Pedagogies to better cater for our students diverse ways of learning.
