Leadership program
Cranbrook State School believes that it is important for students to be involved in a range of leadership programs to allow them to grow and develop into independent lifelong learners.
Induction and leadership orientation program
Students in Year 5 are involved in an induction and orientation program to prepare them for leadership roles in Year 6.

Representatives are elected to be a member of Cranbrook student council as follows:
Students are involved in a range of activities involving fundraising, leading school parades, special ceremonies and school discos.
