At Cranbrook, we believe that homework is effective in supporting learning if it is clearly related to classwork. Our homework is designed to engage students in lesson content directly from the Australian Curriculum that has been taught during the week in Learning Areas. Cranbrook's Homework Policy has been developed to align to the P-12 Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Framework which specifies that schools must develop a school homework policy in consultation with the school community. Homework is disseminated via the website and classroom teacher. All homework will be over a 5 week period and will be uploaded to assist parents in supporting their child.

Although homework is not compulsory, all students need to be reading every night to ensure continued success.
