School Bus Service
Cranbrook State School operates its own private bus service for use by students travelling to and from school and for other school related activities such as excursions. The collection of students for travelling to school in the morning will be from their residence or other parent allocated collection point.

Chaplaincy services
Our main aim at Cranbrook state School is for our chaplaincy service to contribute to school welfare. Chaplains work proactively to build relationships with students as the basis for enhancing students’ wellbeing, rather than simply responding to problems that arose.
We aim for our chaplain to be accessible and approachable and students able to initiate consultation with chaplains. We also aim for students to see them as different from other school staff, as ‘neutral’ or ‘non-aligned’, partly because they did not have teaching or disciplinary roles.
Our chaplain approaches welfare holistically, working with families and communities, as well as individual students. They approach their task flexibly according to the needs they identified within the school.
Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club aims to assist children to get a good start to the school day by providing them with the opportunity to share a nutritious meal. This program contributes to the nutritional needs of children, helps to improve attendance, assists in improving engagement and has a positive impact on the capacity of children and young people to learn.
Thank you Foodbank Queensland for your generous donations and on-going support.
Breakfast is available to all students in the Large Covered Area from 8.00am to 8.30am.
